Sook Yin-Lee
CBC Radio 1 has a show on Saturday afternoon called "Definitely Not The Opera" (so named because it is about popular culture and, during the same time slot, Radio 2 has a program "Saturday Afternoon At The Opera)" with a woman named Sook Yin-Le (mostly called "Sook Yin" by others) who is the host and on-air for most of the two hours.
Now to my surprise Sook Yin is to be found starring in a sexually explicit movie called Shortbus. http://www.thinkfilmcompany.com/
Very disconcerting. Or is it exciting? Can't decide.
Have never seen Sook-yin, only heard her voice, which, to be honest, kind of irritated me now and then. All the DNTO females have this "tone" that puts my teeth slightly on edge. Why can't they all talk like Elenor Wachtel? (any relation to waddy wachtel, famed guitar accompaniest and co-writer of the dear, departed Warren Zevon?)
